This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has stood by the group, even though there hasn't been much activity during the last month or so. This is mostly, I believe because the core members of the group responsible for maintaining it have other responsibilities and as a group founder I haven't put enough motivation behind the project to help it develop
Hopefully that will change, as I have many plans for the future development of the group which I hope will see it flourish.
The main thing I’d ask of the current users is basically just to publicise standards to the web designers of dA perhaps giving guidance and writing a few articles where you are interested. My hopes are that soon we will be able to develop the usg website with more writers and more content. Don't worry though if you don't fancy the idea of going to lots of different sites to know what’s going on, I will try to collect it all on this page so that you can simply come here to be informed.
Discussions are still happenings with regards to the logo competition and we should reach some decisions fairly recently, so hold on to your hats. There are also a few other competition ideas I have install so keep your eyes peals over the next week or two for some updates, they'll be posted here, but you will here about them first if you are in the #us chanel on the dA IRC server.
